About Me

I consider myself as a young, enthusiastic and positive student.

My background in economy and statistic allowed me to develop good analytical skills and a structured way to address problems. At the same time, I’ve been enrolled in the “Scuola di Studi Superiori Ferdinando Rossi”, an institution of excellence and higher education for university studies, which enriched my education with multidisciplinary courses and helped me to maintain a fresh and dynamic mindset. I have recently graduated cum laude and recommendation for publication in the MSc “Economics of the environment, culture and territory” with the dissertation “Design and feasibility analysis of agricultural index insurance: the case of rice cultivation in Northern Laos” that I wrote at the Monash University (Melbourne).

During my studies, I took part in several University exchange programs in different countries (Belgium, Spain and Australia) which lead me in deeply believe in the importance of a more cohesive European society and pushed me to always seek confrontations with people with different backgrounds, ideas and knowledge. The main research goal of my PhD is to evaluate the effect of knowledge on long-term landscape changes (over the past and the future) and evaluate the usefulness of scenarios on the decision-making process. To reach this goal, I will conduct an ex-post evaluation of existing scenarios and I will join ongoing projects to evaluate the effect of participatory scenario planning on decision-making using crowdsourcing, surveys and choice experiments.

Publications: Design and feasibility analysis of an agricultural index insurance: the case of rice cultivation in Northern Laos, Masters Thesis, Monash University, Melbourne.
